A simple and efficient tool for epilame coating

Epilame coating is a surface treatment applied to certain mechanical parts in watchmaking. It consists in depositing a thin hydrophobic layer, in particular on pivots and gearing, in order to control the distribution of lubricating oils, and prevent unwanted dispersion.

The objective of this process is to reduce friction, optimise lubricant distribution and improve the stability of the mechanisms.

Since our tool can boast a similar ergonomy to an oil pike, it makes it easy to deposit a fluid on various watchmaking components at very precise points.
